Decals for the diesel controls: soak in distilled water, place on microscope slide, aside into place and cover with Walther's solvaset (and hope nothing melts). Once the decals dry for a few hours I put the parts face down and run an Xacto blade around the edges to remove any decal edges that run off the edge of the part.

Cut and soak one part's worth of decals in a plastic plate of water for about a minute.
