Surprisingly large amount of work left to do: lots of gluing and putty with on the hull; sanding; prime hull; black highlight hull lines and plates that make up hull; two tone hull paint; a dozen antennae and periscope parts need paint; etc. Difficult parts of model: diesel shaft placement; an airduct that isn't molded properly (error even shows in instructions) but since the pipe isn't visible in finished model I'm leaving it out; fitting the two hull halves together. Everything else was fun because I took my time. Probably about 90 percent done.
